ECOtality North America, formerly Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation (eTec), is a subsidiary of ECOtality(NASDAQ:ECTY), and is a recognized leader in the research, development and testing of advanced transportation and energy systems. Utilizing its patented charging algorithm, ECOtality North America manufactures the Minit-Charger line of fast-charge systems for airport ground support equipment, material handling equipment, transit vehicles (buses) and light duty passenger cars. The Minit-Charge technology can provide a safe and meaningful charge for an EV in approximately 15 minutes.
