Regional Field Services Representative - Seattle

Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation (ETEC) is a recognized leader in the research, development and testing of advanced transportation and energy systems specializing in alternative-fuel, hybrid and electric vehicles and their infrastructure. Recent business growth has prompted the need to recruit an experienced Regional Field Services Representative based in our Seattle office.

The Regional Field Services Representative will be responsible for providing construction management services for the regional deployment of eTec’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Duties include managing all aspects of construction associated with the installation of residential, commercial, and public EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) charging stations including preliminary site evaluations, contractor bids, construction schedules, contracts, permits, and inspections. The Field Services Representative will interface with customers, vendors, local inspection authorities, public and government officials, and the general public.

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years’ experience managing the construction of high voltage electrical infrastructure projects. He/she should enjoy working as part of a project team in a small company environment and be willing to participate in all areas of the company’s business at all levels.

Annual salary: $55,000 - $70,000 commensurate with skills and experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational or practical experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend architectural and engineering design plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, UBC, and NEC codes and regulations.
  • Must be able to work on call to handle all incidents, delays, and bad weather conditions.
  • Must be adaptive and have the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced work environment and make decisions quickly, even when presented with a number of options.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively to groups including customers, suppliers, contractors, and employees of the organization.
  • Computer literate; proficient with office software packages.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Staff management experience desirable.
