Jonathan Read, President and CEO, is an entrepreneur, experienced brand manager, international developer and licensor with a passion for the discovery and realization of clean technology solutions. Over the last 30 years, Read has grown corporations in various markets through global licensing agreements, strategic partnerships and creative management guidance. At ECOtality, he brings his executive management experience to the team. He is instrumental in shaping the direction of the company with a vision to transform nascent clean technologies for global commercial adoption through commercialization and licensing agreements. Prior to founding ECOtality, Read was the founder, former Chairman and CEO of Park Plaza International (Park Inn International/Park Plaza Worldwide). Read grew the hotel chain from just four hotels to a leading global hotel group focused on licensing and joint ventures with operations in 32 countries. In 2003, he sold the companies to Carlson Hospitality and Golden Wall Investments in 2003. Read also served as Chairman and CEO of Shakey's International from 1984 to 1989. After further expanding the business into a worldwide franchise and licensing group with operations in the United States, Southeast Asia, Japan, South America, Mexico, Europe and the Caribbean, Read sold the global corporation in 1989. Colonel Barry S. Baer is the Chief Financial Officer at ECOtality. He has enjoyed an extensive career in financial management and formerly served as the CFO at Obsidian Enterprises, Inc. prior to joining ECOtality. In addition, Colonel Baer has served as CFO at a number of manufacturing corporations including: Max Katz Bag Company and Apex Industries. Previously, he worked with the City of Indianapolis as its Director of Public Works. Currently, Colonel Baer also serves as CFO for Favored, Inc. (FVRK.PK) and is a member of the State of Indiana Unemployment Insurance Board. As a retired U.S. Army Colonel and a Certified Public Accountant, Colonel Baer's military service includes Commander of an armored cavalry troop in Vietnam; Director of the Accounting Systems for the U.S. Army; Commander of the 18th Finance Group during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in the first Gulf War and Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management for the Army Material Command. Colonel Baer earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree from the University of Colorado. |

Dr. Jerry Y.S. Lin currently serves as the Director and Chairman of the Technology Committee for ECOtality and provides guidance on technical issues related to the company’s effort in the development of various renewable energy technologies. This is in addition to his role as Professor and Department Chair of Chemical Engineering at the Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, Arizona. Dr. Lin’s extensive teaching career has encompassed professorships at the Technology University of Cincinnati, where he served as Professor of Chemical Engineering and Co-director of the NSF Center for Membrane Applied Science, and a post-doctoral staff position at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. His expertise in inorganic membranes, solid oxide fuel cells, adsorption and catalysis has resulted in more than 150 refereed journal publications, 2100 SCI citations, and he currently holds three patents. Dr. Lin is also a much sought after speaker having presented at over 100 global lectures in academia and industry events. Dr. Lin has received numerous international professional and academic awards including the United States National Science Foundation Career Award. He has also headed many research programs funded by such federal agencies as the United States Department of Energy and Department of Defense, and private sector companies such as Amoco, BP, Exxon, Honda and the Petroleum Research Board. Dr. Lin has served on editorial boards of several journals including the Journal of Membrane Science. He was the conference chairman of the 8th International Conference on Inorganic Membranes (ICIM8). Dr. Lin earned his bachelor’s degree from Zhejiang University in China, and his master’s and doctorate degrees in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. |

RAGHU RAM is the Vice President of Finance for ECOtality Inc. Mr. Ram has extensive and varied experience of over fifteen years with major corporations such as AIM Mutual Funds, Marsulex, DuPont, Rogers Telecommunications and KPMG LLP. Ram has international experience in India, Canada and the United States, and has worked extensively in financial reporting, strategic planning, budgeting and managed regulatory filings. He also has significant experience in the Sarbanes Oxley Internal Controls area and managed internal controls documentation at Rogers Telecommunications. In his previous role, Mr. Ram worked with KPMG LLP where he served as Manager of the Audit and Risk Advisory Services Practice. He managed engagements in the CFO Advisory and IT Advisory Services Practices and has extensive systems exposure to the SAP R/3 financial systems. While at KPMG LLP, he managed engagements, advising clients on leading practice methodologies in business process improvements, internal controls and external financial reporting areas to international Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Ram received his Masters degree from the University of Mumbai. He is a Cost & Management Accountant (CWA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). |

Colin Read is the Director of Marketing at ECOtality with the responsibility of overseeing the company’s marketing and public relations strategies. Read has significant experience in politics, public relations and traditional media. Before coming to ECOtality, Read was the Assistant Finance Director on a successful congressional campaign for an Arizona Democratic in the 2006 national mid-term election. Before his work in politics, Read worked for Edelman Public Relations in Washington, D.C., one of the most prestigious and top international PR firms. At Edelman, Read worked in the healthcare branch and worked with many Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and leading international health organizations. Prior to Edelman, Read worked at Arizona Monthly Magazine, one of the state’s premier politics and lifestyle magazines. Read earned his bachelor’s degree at Claremont McKenna College, where he was captain of the men’s golf team and was a two-time Academic All-American. |

She has considerable experience in internet sales and marketing. Before coming to Ecotality Lowry was a Sales executive for Modavox, an internet technology firm specializing in streaming video and audio content. Before her work in internet sales and marketing she spent time as an ESL teacher in Costa Rica where she taught English to children and adults. In the year prior, Brooke was living in Spain playing professional volleyball. Lowry earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a focus in Maritime Archaeology at Saint Mary’s College of California, where she was captain of the women’s volleyball team and was a two time All-Conference Athlete in the West Coast Conference. |

Before working with the ECOtality, Wilson worked for Sears Holding Corporation and Sears Roebuck and Company for 14 years, holding regional and district management and business development positions. At Sears, Wilson gained tremendous retail management experience as she built a top performing management team, initiated multiple training programs, coordinated substantial remodeling projects, and was instrumental in driving top line sales revenue. Prior to working with Sears Holding Company and Sears Roebuck and Company, Wilson worked for Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company. With strong business acumen and strategic planning abilities, Wilson has a successful track record of meeting goals with significant growth in top line sales. Her management style combines strong personal leadership and an analytical ability to identify and implement changes. Wilson attended Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona, and Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California. |

Gwen's background includes working on account payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and human resources. Her responsibilities as controller at Ecotality are to create innovative solutions to managing the day-to-day finances for the company's vast acquisitions. Gwen is a native Arizonan and has a great appreciation for the game of golf. |

These positions encompassed store sales and department management positions, store merchandise manager, district business manager for six states and store manager of three stores in Arizona. His duties included, but were not limited to, sales, advertising, personnel management, financial statements and accounting. Prior to and after retirement, Mr. Sciotto has been an independent business consultant to a verity of new startup business ventures. The consulting services Mr. Sciotto provides these businesses include, but are not limited to, business development, advertising, accounting, e-commerce, merchandising, web design and publishing. Mr. Sciotto attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and Ohio State University. |

Slade Mead is a lawyer, professional sports consultant and former Arizona State Senator. The founder of The Baseball Players Group, Mr. Mead specializes in arbitration cases and represents several professional athletes, including Andy Roddick. Previously, Mr. Mead worked for Advantage International, a leading global sports management firm, where he ran the London office and represented several professional tennis and baseball players. Mr. Mead is a former Arizona State Senator who served on the Appropriations, Government and Education (Vice-Chair) Committees. With a deep commitment to education, Mr. Mead was voted the Arizona School Board Legislator of the Year (2003), Arizona Women’s Political Caucus Legislator of the Year (2004), and Arizona Career Technical Education Policy Maker of the Year (2004). Mr. Mead remains very active in education and state politics as he ran for Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction in 2006, and is a Court appointed School Board and Receiver Board member for the Maricopa Regional School District. Don Karner has thirty years of engineering and technical project management experience. Fifteen years of this experience was in the electric utility industry where he developed and implemented strategic direction for engineering, operating and maintenance organizations ranging in size from ten to three thousand people in nuclear, fossil, environmental and rate-making arenas. The balance of Mr. Karner’s experience has been with advanced vehicle design and fueling infrastructure as the President of Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation. Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation specializes in advanced fuel vehicle and infrastructure development for both on and off road battery electric, hybrid electric, plug-in hybrid electric and hydrogen-fueled vehicles. In addition to his management responsibilities, Mr. Karner also serves as Technical Manager for the US Department of Energy Advanced Vehicle Testing Activity. In this capacity, he has directed more than 6 million miles of vehicle testing and evaluated more than two hundred advanced fuel vehicles. Mr. Karner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Arizona. He is also a graduate of the Public Utility Executive Program of the University of Michigan School of Business. |
